During the Vietnam war, the media created some major problems for the powers to be in reference to influencing popular opinion. I believe that is when the government fully recognized the need to get the media in its grasp. In other words, what we are currently experiencing as news and information is just one big psy-op in Gun Shy's personal opinion. The next time you are pondering how Obama got elected, just reference the above quote for verification.
