How Freakin Ironic

From the state whose vehicle tag says "Live Free or Die" we have this:

Management Company Says Flag Displays Violate Policy

quote:

HILLSBOROUGH, N.H. --
A Navy veteran is fighting to be able to show his patriotism by flying an American flag outside his apartment building.

Joe LeVangie, 88, said he's upset after he and his neighbors were told to take their flags down because flying them was against management policy. He said there should be an exception for the flag.

LeVangie, a World War II veteran, said he used to fly his American flag outside his apartment at the Maple Leaf complex in Hillsborough.

"In respect for all the troops serving overseas now and for those who never came back," he said.

Well, Gun Shy gets it. And I am sure a lot of other patriotic Americans "get it", so what is the problem? In my experience of being in New England, it was common knowledge that liberals from Massachusetts were moving to southern New Hampshire because of the cheap taxes and property. Some New Hampshire people as well as other New Englanders such as people from Maine had problems with their attitudes, so much that they earned the nick name "massholes". I do not know the details, but maybe a few of the Mass transplants moved a little further north.

Well, it looks like some people in New England still have their sanity. Click here to see.
