London England G20 Protest vs Pittsburgh Protest

First of all, let it be known that Gun Shy probably does not agree with the politics of the G20 protesters, especially the anarchists. Personally, I believe that much of this "the environment is being destroyed" paranoia is based on pseudo science. Where I do support them however, is that Gun Shy believes that all Americans are afforded first amendment rights of free speech and the right to assembly, as well as protection under the definitions found in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. I have been reviewing video of the treatment of the protesters in Pittsburgh. Sometimes when you view a video, there is earlier footage that was not included, so you do not necessarily have all of the data. Now let me say this. When I see a man who weighs 230-250 lbs who is wearing full protective gear, taking a baton and putting it across the back of a 19 or 20 year old that weighs about 110 lbs as she is riding away from him on a bicycle as his partner also hits her with a similar two handed horizontal strike, and then when she finally has had enough and responds to him in a physical manner (throwing her bike at him), he then uses his baton to administer a two handed horizontal strike in the side of her neck invoking a whip lash like movement as his partner controls her head and assists by slamming her to the ground, in my opinion, something is really wrong in America. First watch this video filmed in an area of Pittsburgh known as Oakland, while asking yourself what oath did these storm troopers take?

Does anyone notice the similarities? So I ask you, where is the pressure from the mainstream media? They don't mind spending weeks lamenting about Michael Jackson’s death, so shouldn’t they be asking the hard questions about this? And where is Mr Obama on all of this? He was quick to decry a Harvard professor being arrested in a professional and safe manner with no harm done during the arrest, but now he is silent when it comes to this display of force applied to a young college age girl. After watching this video a number of times, I would be very surprised if this young woman did not suffer a permanent neck injury from this particular physical application of force. Maybe the department should have issued this chart to the officers in question before issuing them such a serious and deadly weapon. I am following this incident closely to see what the outcome is. Let it be known, that Gun Shy supports Law Enforcement officers that keep their oath. For those who don't....you suck, and you are a disgrace... period.
