This week my "thou hypocrite" award goes to Jerrold Nadler, a Senator from New York who said that defunding ACORN would be un-constitutional. Here is a quote:
As Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee charged with defending the Constitution, Nadler spoke out on the House floor against the Republican Amendment, delivering the following statement…
…“That’s what this Amendment did. It is flatly prohibited by the Constitution, and once we ignore the Constitution we ignore constitutional principles…
Ok, now let’s look at Mr Nadler's voting record on second amendment rights:
Voted NO on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers.
Voted NO on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse.
Voted NO on decreasing gun waiting period from 3 days to 1.
Rated F by the NRA, indicating a pro-gun control voting record.
