The Wisdom of the Book

When the righteous become great, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, the people sigh. (also translated as groan in pain or grief) Proverbs 29:2

Thankfully, many went forward to stand for what is right and true, as evidenced by this video of the millions who turned up in Washington D.C. It was such a turn out that even C-Span couldn't ignore it. I couldn't help but notice that they never showed an overhead view of the huge gathering, and attempted to keep the cameras focused near field to give the illusion of a smaller crowd. They also could have used a different audio technique with the microphones to capture the true level of crowd noise when the speakers posed questions. I am sure it was merely an oversight on their part. The team they sent to cover the event must have been people who just came on board at C-Span, and this was their first day on the job.

It hard to believe, that you could have a gathering of Second Amendment gun toting "right wing extremists" over a million strong, and no one was shot and there wasn't any violence. Imagine that.

Let me close with a little more Wisdom from The Book:

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, and a person whose way is straight is an abomination to a wicked man. Proverbs 29:27

When the wicked attain greatness, transgression increases, and the righteous will see their downfall. Proverbs 29:16

2010 is approaching rapidly and the elected officials should be extremely careful not to get dust in their eyes that blows in the winds of change...real change that you can believe in, courtesy of we the people
