Is There Something in the Water?
Or maybe it is in the air, as there have been some who have alleged that there are parties unknown doing an aerial spraying program in the U.S.
I don't really know anything about the allegations, although it is scientifically probable. Just throwing it out there for effect. Anyhow, people are definitely acting badly as evidenced by the headlines in today's Drudge Report:

We need to stop giving these violent a$$holes lawyers and start treating them like the enemy combatants they are in my opinion.

Less Freedom Does Not Equal More Security
The ineffectiveness of the TSA in airline security has been well demonstrated, and is really just another form of security theater. Now the TSA is in New York City doing intrusive techniques on subway riders while looking professional as usual, as well a federal judge ordering TSA agents to supervise the patting down of kids attending a prom. Loss of freedom starts out as a gradual process, but eventually picks up speed to become an out of control slippery slope. New Yorkers have been conditioned over time to give up their rights without questioning. After all, New Yorkers gave up their second amendment rights a long time ago, so why would having the fourth amendment compromised be troubling to anyone?
