Traveler says laptop stolen, TSA wand left in bag

quote:

A tourist from Spain traveling through Orlando International Airport says his laptop was stolen after he went though security. The man says when he got to his destination he opened his laptop bag and found a TSA wand inside his bag but no laptop.

According to an Orlando Police Department report, on January 6 the tourist called OPD to report that his $2,500 laptop was missing from his bag and inside the bag was a long, black, spoon like grasping apparatus device with a Transportation Security Administration logo on it. The report says the device is a wand used by TSA to detect trace explosive elements in luggage.
