One of America's Finest is Honored

One of our own from Central Florida was honored today.

Fallen Soldier's Family Accepts Medal Of Honor

quote:

Staff Sgt. Miller was one of the country's best. That day in the Afghan mountains, his tiny patrol was ambushed by 140 insurgents. The Army says Miller killed or wounded more than 50 enemy fighters while bravely saving the lives of 22 fellow soldiers...

...The Green Beret is laid to rest at All Faiths Memorial Park in Seminole County. The marker includes a scripture, Purple Heart, and Bronze Star. And, in the middle, a Medal of Honor disc will soon be placed, a tribute Rob's parents hope will never be forgotten.

I stand and salute this young hero. He was an exemplary Soldier whose courageous actions define the meaning of duty and honor. Our Central Florida Community, as well as our nation will be a lesser place without him.

On another note, Mr Obama has finally done something noble.
