Please note that this did not happen in a crime ridden city like Orlando. It happened in New Smyrna Beach, a lazy little beach town. It appears that the thugs are branching out in to the small residential communities. If America would get more pro-active with concealed carry, there would be a lot of these guys laying face down in parking lots wondering what happened:

Jane Scheff, 69, was leaving a Bank of America in New Smyrna Beach at 1:19 p.m. when Lincoln Woods put a gun to her head and tried to force her into her car, police said.
Another man, Bakari Smith, a known gang member, pushed Scheff into her car and the pair hit her over the head with a blunt object and put her in the back seat of the car, but she was able to escape out the unlocked door, police said.
Whether the woman knew it or not, she made the right move. NEVER let an abductor take you to a secondary location, because the chance of you dying increases greatly.
And as a side note, that "brief" standoff cost the taxpayers a whole lot of money, and now we will pay to house these thugs in jail.
