He Should Have Scared Them Off With a Warning Shot...

...through the head.

Armed Homeowner Scares Off Home Invaders

quote:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A homeowner in a gated community pulled out his own gun to scare two armed men who forced their way into his home late Monday night. Deputies are still searching for the two, armed invaders Tuesday morning...

...The two suspects wore masks and had guns when they knocked on the family's front door around 10:30pm Monday night.

...When the family's son answered the knock at the door, investigators believe the suspects panicked because they were not expecting anyone to be home. That is when the armed suspects stormed into the home, brandished their firearms and demanded the family's valuables.

The parents and their two children ran from the suspects and locked themselves in a back bedroom. That is when the father pulled out his own gun.

"While back there, the family grabbed his firearm and started shooting into the ground to scare off the suspects," said Paul Hopkins, Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects fled the scene when they heard the gunshots.

When Domestic Urban Terrorists enter your dwelling forcibly threatening you and your family, it is game on... period. One of the beautiful things about the state of Florida, is that the Castle Doctrine is very clear. When a violent offender makes the decision to cross that line, the Stand Your Ground ruling gives you the right to end their career.
