Off-Duty Officer Shoots At Suspect's Tires

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Authorities are searching for a driver they say repeatedly rammed an off-duty police officer's car on an interstate with his family inside.
Oak Hill police Officer Brandy Sutherin's wife drove with their three children in the backseat as Sutherin talked with dispatchers. at one point Saturday's pursuit reached 90 miles an hour.
Dispatchers urged Sutherin to slow down. Sutherin said he fired a single-shot from his personal gun at the truck's tires after the driver tried to hit them head on.
