The Russians helped us out with the Nazi's in WW2. Maybe it is time to re-evaluate who might be a good choice of allies in eradicating terrorism.

Here is the problem for Russia. The Chechens are fierce fighters, and some have been trained in the Russian military system. Some may even be former Spetsnaz. The difference between us and Russia, is that Russia could give a crap about what is politically correct. Since radical Islam wants to destroy us as well as Russia, maybe there needs to be a new alignment between our nations militarily. Our ideologies are never going to meld, but maybe there is still a working relationship of sorts there.
