Maybe it is just me, but if someone were to take the time to point out that I was breaking a law that I could be prosecuted for, I would probably be thankful. Not so when it comes to the Obama fan club.

Gun Shy thinks that she might have a point. There are certain elements that can not accept Obama as president. They are patriots who love America and can’t stand to watch the Nation being squandered, people who despise socialism, people who despise Marxism, people who despise radicalism, people who believe that the president shouldn't be partying like a rock star throwing concerts at the White House and going on endless vacations while a large number of Americans are out of work, people who believe that the money they earn is theirs, and that it should not be ‘redistributed’ to those who refuse to work, people who believe that congress is important when approval is needed to declare war, people who believe that we should become self sustainable energy wise by drilling our own oil, people who believe that government has no business in the private sector, people who believe in a strong national defense and secure borders, and not bowing and groveling to every petty tyrant and dictator on the planet, and the list goes on ad infinitum. And just so this diatribe is perfectly clear, it IS about the Flag. The Flag, the Constitution, AND the Republic that great men who are more honorable and courageous than the group she is cheering for, fought and died for while the individual on her flag was being mentored by an avowed communist as he partied his way through school on grants, and the vice president on her team had a FIVE TIME deferment during the Vietnam war.

When you're totally in the wrong, then you play whatever card you can to save face. Yes, it's embarrassing to be so ignorant of American flag code, but the best way to handle this is to admit your mistake and correct it instead of trying to blame someone else. Lying and blame shifting are the strongest democrat policies this year.
