Another Way to Avoid Being Carjacked in Orlando
In an earlier commentary I discussed a few ways to avoid being carjacked here in Orlando, but as we know, technology is on the march and here is the latest carjacking deterrent.

Gun Shy shakes his head. What kind of rules of engagement create a situation where you must first order an active shooter to drop his weapon? As soon as Hasan was identified as an armed threat attacking the troops it was time for the officer to discharge his firearm immediately. There was plenty of time to ask questions later in my opinion. It seems that our warriors have been handcuffed by ROE based on political correctness these days.
As a side note, it appears that both officers were using a 9mm sidearm. With the correct shot placement a 9mm may be effective, but who says that you can get correct shot placement in this type of engagement.

"The 9mm Parabellum cartridge cannot be considered a reliable fight stopper--with any load. I have three recent cases of multiple torso wounds (four hits, four hits and seven hits) that did not shut the subject down, and each was with a different load."

Gun Shy Asks "How Come"?
How is it that if an American Christian pastor preaches against homosexuality because of his beliefs it is labeled as hate speech, but when hatred against Americans is preached in mosques that are on U.S. soil, and then one of its members goes on a shooting rampage killing American soldiers and civilians it is labeled as post traumatic stress disorder?
P.S. Was it not "hate speech" that prompted the 9/11 attackers to fly airplanes into the WTC killing thousands of American civilians and were they not attending mosques here on U.S. soil? And what about the beltway sniper and his accomplice who shot innocent civilians at gas stations and grocery stores in the D.C. area? As I have stated before, politically correct sucks and is getting innocent Americans killed daily. It's time for a real change, and not the kind that the apologist in chief is spinning.

Are Any of the Christians and Jews That Voted for Obama Actually Listening to What He is Saying?
This is a video of edited comments spoken by Mr Obama. If you check the complete speeches they were excerpted from you will find that he did in fact say them. For the readers who do not know, Muslims consider Christians and Jews to be people of the "book". What this means, is that when the time comes, Christians and Jews will have the chance to convert to Islam, and if they do not they will be killed (possibly by beheading) as infidels.
Since Mr Obama has claimed to be a Christian on numerous occasions, let us use the book that Christians follow to see what it has to say:

Watch this video and see how Oprah's feel good mouthpiece and another expert (because she was shot in the ankle and captured as food service personnel) try to explain away a premeditated act of multiple murders as PTSD. (the shooter was never even in combat) With experts such as these, it is no wonder that CNN is now a last rate news channel. I wonder how Dr Phil and the other experts feel now that the details of the shooters premeditation and shouts of allah hu akbar have been brought forward by the press. The man who they tried to gang up on and belittle in the interview was spot on, and Americans need to wake up and realize that in the eyes of many, we are no more than kafir (infidels) and killing us (preferably with great violence) is an honorable act according to their beliefs.

When you restrict gun ownership, you take away the ability for the young boys to learn shooting skills as well as safety. When this happens, you eventually end up limiting the number of already skilled shooters entering the countries military. Young men that grow up in the country and are exposed to firearms enter the military with decent skills already established. This is also true for Canadians who grew up on the prairies where firearms are a way of life. Now watch this video and this one as well.

One of the Reasons Why They So Desperately Need to Control the Internet
The internet is the worlds new way of getting information instantly at the click of a mouse. No more waiting for the evening newspaper to be delivered. No more sitting through the evening news to get the information you are looking about the days events. (it is mostly skewed anyways) Now Americans can find information at a grass roots level (can you hear that Nancy P?) and connect to organizations like this one, that is working to educate the public about what their congress is really doing, and who needs to get the boot in 2010.
