Jogger jumps off Calif. cliff to flee attacker

MALIBU, Calif. — Authorities say a man tried to sexually assault a Southern California jogger who escaped by jumping off a cliff and sliding about 100 feet down a steep hillside.
If the jogger had a expandable baton (illegal in Kalifornia) or a knife (regulated in Kalifornia) pepper spray (regulated in Kalifornia) or a Gun (extremely regulated in Kalifornia) it would have been the attacker that went screaming off the cliff. Instead the attacker got a Toyota Land Cruiser while the victim got traumatized as well as physically injured.
