Gun Shy Loves His Hispanic Friends

I know...some of the readers are probably scratching your heads. You are probably thinking that since ol' Gun sometimes bitches about illegal immigration, that I somehow have it out for all Hispanics. That is in fact, very far from the truth, with the key word to focus on here being illegal. Gun has absolutely no problem with the people who come to America legally in search of the American dream, who work hard, abide by the law, and raise their kids to be good Americans. It is a fact that many of the Hispanic immigrants who come to America, end up serving in our military with honor and distinction, and many of them I have known personally are some serious bad ass hombres. The problem is not with these people of high character who want to be part of the greatness that is America. The problem is with drug dealing narco terrorist type criminals who are wreaking havoc on innocent Americans, many of them who are of Hispanic heritage as well.

Anyhow, Gun has many Hispanic friends from all over the globe. They are from places like Honduras, Argentina, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Cuba to name a few. Many of them came to America, and learned English by watching television while working a couple of jobs in order to get established. They are amazing human beings, and people like these end up being part of the strong fabric that is America.

The one thing that I admire about my Hispanic friends who own restaurants (which Gun Shy often frequents), is that they never forgot how hard it was for them when they first came to America, and so they hire people who have just come to America to help them get established and learn the language while treating them very well.

Yes, Gun Shy loves his Hispanic friends, and salutes them for their strong work ethic and sense of family, and for contributing to the great nation that we are all fortunate to be a part of.
