Since the U.S. does all the heavy lifting financially and militarily in every international conflict, why are we listening to anything the U.N. says?

The UN is just a committee of representatives of imperfect governments. Too many people see the UN as a step up the ladder in government when it is actually a perfect example of how bad "rule by committee" can be.
