Army Delta was there for the Tora Bora operation, they were there for the capture of Saddam Hussein and the neutralization of his two sons Uday and Qusay in a firefight in Mosul, and it now appears that they were there for the Abbottabad operation as well.
All week long we have been hearing a lot about SEAL Team Six, but in a documentary on TV today, it was revealed that Delta was there for the operation as well. This makes perfectly good sense, because this was a JSOC operation, and Army's Delta Force, Navy SEALs Team Six, Army Rangers and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment all operate under the JSOC banner.
