Delegates, journalists, activists and observers from almost 200 countries have gathered at the Dec 7-18 summit and their travel and work will create 46,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide, most of it from their flights.
Gun Shy wonders why if they are so green minded, why didn't they ride their bicycles or roller blade there, or for those across the pond, kayak? I will tell you why, because many of these people are fat old lazy people who have lived a soft privileged life due to the labors of the little people. It is also important to remember this. As long as there is a crisis, whether it be real or manufactured, they will figure out a way to make the masses pay for it so that they can keep financing their comfortable little lives.
