Police: Wheelchair-Bound Man Shoots Intruder - Authorities Search For Second Assailant
quote:
Authorities said Gary Wrodlewski, 62, who is wheelchair-bound, answered his door at about 10 p.m. on Monday. A man outside the door asked for assistance in jumping his car, but investigators said Wrodlewski declined. That's when officials said a second armed and masked man came to the door. Investigators said Wrodlewski pulled out his own gun, which is a Colt .45-caliber, and opened fire.
If it is any consolation to the deceased domestic urban terrorist (the mask helped him qualify), he should know that his death was due to receiving rounds from a quality firearm (choice of Marine Recon), unlike the possible "junk gun" that the assailant was carrying that may have been stolen. A .45 with a pony on the handle is an excellent choice to change a violent assailants mind quickly during a random confrontation. I am curious if the wheelchair bound victim turned victor was a disabled Vietnam vet.
