Let Me Get This Straight...

It was protected free speech for American Nazi's to march in Skokie Illinois in the late 1970's, even though it was an area where many holocaust survivors lived, but it is not okay for a pastor to protest in front of a mosque?

Pastor Terry Jones taken to jail after refusing to post $1 peace bond

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Controversial Quran-burning Pastor Terry Jones has been taken to the Wayne County Jail after refusing to post a $1 peace bond.

The development came after a jury found a proposed protest by Jones outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, the largest mosque in the United States, was likely to breach the peace and incite violence.

Here is the long and short of this. If anyone says that they believe in the Constitution, and then travels to Michigan to spend one penny as a tourist, then I would consider them to be a hypocrite. I have good friends in that state, and I feel very badly for them.

The next time that a radical muslim wants a permit in New York to step all over an American flag, it should be denied because it could incite violence. Better yet, the pastor should apply for a permit to protest in front of of the place where they are trying to build the ground zero mosque, so that we can compare apples for apples when it comes to justice.
