Hit And Run Involving Children Becomes Bizarre Shooting

When Torres tried to take off, the father jumped onto the side of the car in an effort to stop the vehicle. That is when, investigators say, Torres fired a gun at the children's father. At that point he fell off the car and tumbled onto the road.
Gun Shy loves it when people display courage like this, because it reminds me of what America used to be before we became a litigation nation run by lawyers, and held captive by the fear of a lawsuit. It is too bad that the father was not armed, because this could have been the final chapter of a very short story. This guy will be back on the streets next week.
