It Must be the Same “New Math” That the Current Administration is Using

Police Agencies Getting Millions From Feds

quote:

CENTRAL FLORIDA -- Police agencies across Central Florida are getting nearly $10 million from the federal government to hire more officers. Eyewitness News talked to one who didn't even want the money. The money comes from the Economic Stimulus Plan and the White House just released which police agencies are getting it and how much.

The big winners in our area are the Orlando Police Department, which will get $3 million and save 15 police officer jobs.

Can someone get out their calculator and divide 15 into $3 million please? According to their website, these are the salary ranges:

Start: $40,348 (after graduation from the Academy)
Top Officer: $64,663

Can one of the readers help me out with this please? This new math is so confusing to me.
